A Brief Update
<periodic reminder that I'm still alive and popping in here to clean out my inbox every few days>
:bulletred: Perhaps the most interesting update is that there's a new excerpt from Fracture available to read here on my blog. I've actually been making some writing progress lately and have kind of mapped out a better process for myself, so hopefully things will go a little faster from here.
:bulletred: I haven't posted here since I re-did my website, did I? While you're checking out my blog, take a look around the rest of the website too. I completely revamped it at the beginning of the year, so it's got some new features—includin
Long Time No Journal
As in it's legitimately been a year... oops...
So, many of you have probably noticed I'm not super active on here anymore. At all, really. Because I'm The Worst™. I do log in every couple of days and clean out my inbox, so if I watch you and you've posted any artwork recently, I have seen it. And in the rare event that I actually have some new artwork, I have tried to post it.
I also cancelled my Core Membership a few months ago just because I wasn't active enough on here to make it worth the money, but I just renewed it again for a brief time while I do some general maintenance with my profile. Once it expires I'm sure I'll cancel it
It's been a while
*obligatory disclaimer about how terrible I am at keeping this journal updated*
Let's see...last entry was the beginning of May. What all has happened since then...
4th of July happened, I guess. Since the holiday was on a Monday, I took Friday and Tuesday off and ended up with a 5-day weekend, which was totally glorious. We fulfilled the tradition of going up to my grandparents' house in south-central Washington and we actually had other family there this time and got to see our cousin whom we hadn't seen in almost 2 years. It's always fun to hang out with him. The weather was cooler than usual up there too -- we're usually miserable half
Hellllooooooo
Just a quick update to let everyone know I'm still alive. I haven't updated this journal in like 3 months because a) I don't really have time and b) I really honestly don't have anything interesting to talk about. And here I thought my life was boring during school...
Things are fine, for the most part. I wake up every morning, I go to work, I sit on my butt in an office for 8 hours, I go home, I sleep, I do it over again (being an adult is fun! ). But hey, MONEY. It's been nice to be able to actually chip away at my car payments and student loans and still be able to afford other stuff I want/need. Of course having money also means I

Ugh, I totally feel you as far as not having time for anything. Probably not quite to the same extent, but seriously, this semester is killing me already. I've had an insane amount of homework already. It's not even hard or anything, it's just really time-consuming. And then whenever I finish that, I have to do Mom stuff, which is fine, but I literally have had maybe a half-hour to myself at the end of the day before I have to go to bed so I can wake up and do it all again and, as you said, not be a zombie. It's super annoying. The lack of writing time is driving me insane. It definitely sucks, but hopefully you'll have a great volleyball season and when that's over, you'll have more time for writing and Fallout and everything.
The multi-author signing sounds fun. Even if you have the same stuff from before, that's totally okay. It's an impressive collection. I also love the idea of making Kindle frame things to show the eBooks. I may steel that one sometime.
And Mass Effect: Andromeda looks awesome. I can't wait! I kind of like the Asari character already. I was never really a huge fan of any of the Asari squad members in the original games. I didn't dislike them, but they weren't my favorite. This one seems intriguing.
